What was left of the Radio and Communications' magazine Web site during bankruptcy proceedings finally disappeared at the end of 2003 when the domain name registration expired. There's nothing for us to forward you to. After deleting the bookmark or fixing the reference that brought you here, please read on: In October 2003 Bob Harper, VK4NH, (who had been editing R&C) brought to market a new magazine called "ESR : Electronics-Science-Radio" utilizing the talents of some of the Radio and Communications Contributing Editors. I continued my "Baudwalking" column and all was well, so I thought. In the end, ESR also failed, and VK4NH describe the end in a public letter that saw limited distribution around May 2004. I created an Internet Relay Chat "Baudwalking" channel to keep in touch with readers and friends who had been reading the column back to 1996. It's worked out well. Do come say hello. The channel is usually awake wheneverI am on line.
Questions? Please ask. I'll answer if I can, but no promises as the story is a bit thin. 73, Rev. 2004-08-14 |
